📚 Special Notes
- Mandatory continuous ECG monitoring
- Watch for hypotension and bradycardia
- 📋 PEDIATRIC SCHEME VF/VT REFRACTORY (AHA PALS):
- • 1st dose: 5 mg/kg IV AFTER 3rd shock (max 300 mg)
- • 2nd dose: 5 mg/kg IV AFTER 5th shock (max 150 mg additional)
- • Max 3 total doses during arrest
- 💉 PREPARATION: Dilute in 5% glucose (incompatible with saline)
- ⏱️ ADMINISTRATION: Rapid bolus in arrest; 20-60 min infusion if arrhythmia with pulse
